"Photo with snake, sir?" The little girl would ask.
Tonle Sap literally translates into "freshwater lake" in Khmer (tonle = lake, sap = freshwater). Many children on this part of the enormous lake (which is huge even in its driest season) would have pet snakes and they pedal around the lake in the aluminium water basin/tub with their hands/homemade oar and ask if tourists would like to take a photo with their snakes. This little girl was just about to leave the floating tourist centre with her snake in the basin after asking around a new batch of tourists.
